Asclera Vein Treatment – Let’s Show Those Pretty Legs Again!
When it comes to seeing varicose, spider veins, or just the color of aging veins under our skin, I get this feeling my body needs a little help from a friend. Someone who can clinically provide some Asclera Vein Treatment assistance to help the veins look better. This way, I don’t feel so bad about walking out in public wearing shorts, skirts, swimsuit, dresses or any attire which allows my legs to be viewed. One would have to agree, it is not a pretty sight and it makes you feel self-conscience about your looks. When it is hot outside, you feel more comfortable when you can wear clothes which allow you to feel the cool breeze of the wind blowing across your legs.
Sclerosing Agent in Medical Terms
I know; we are getting older, but it doesn’t mean we cannot take the appropriate action to paint a beautiful picture. This is what Dr. Gorin’s team of professionals at Gorin Plastic Surgery do with the Asclera Vein Treatment. They assist in providing an excellent medical alternative which is a medicine prescription injection called Asclera. I guess you can say that it is the paint, which covers the canvas of those ugly looking vericose or spider veins. In medical terms, Asclera is a sclerosing agent that is injected into the vein and works on the cells lining the inside of the blood vessels by damaging the endothelium. This damage causes blood platelets and cellular debris to attach to the vessels lining and eventually clots. The blood vessels clot causing the clotted vein to be replaced with tissue. With new tissue, your legs look pretty again for a period of time. Asclera.com stated that, “On average, 87% of patients were satisfied or very satisfied with their Asclera treatment”.
Medspa Asclera Vein Treatment Medical Procedure Timetable
This medical procedure may sound complicated or too intense for you, but Dr. Gorin and the Medspa team make it seem quit simple as the typical session for a sclerotherapy takes approximately 15 to 45 minutes and is administered per inch per session with multiple injection session being scheduled or planned prior to the first treatment. It is important to follow the proper post care instruction regarding this procedure as compression stockings or support hoses should be worn continuously for 2-3 days and for 2-3 weeks during the day while one is up moving around. Dr. Gorin or a trained staff member will let you know if repeat sessions will be necessary. After medical treatment (2 to 3 days), it is important to remember to avoid sunbathing, long plane flights, heavy exercise and sauna (be careful how hot you make your bath water).
